Policy Statement
The University maintains the confidentiality of student medical records pursuant to applicable federal and state laws, including the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (“FERPA”), and New York’s Public Health and Mental Hygiene Laws. Student medical records and information can only be released with written consent of the patient, or pursuant to court order or medical emergency.
