The Secretary to the Board of Trustees is the custodian of the University’s Charter, Bylaws, and other records and documents of the Board.
The Secretary will affix the University seal and attest and sign documents as required for the transaction of University business. Any item of University business requiring approval of the Board must be directed to the Secretary.
The Secretary oversees the Office of Trustee Relations in administering all activities of the Board as directed by the Chair, including but not limited to membership, meetings, transactions, and communications. The Office must be consulted regarding any communications to the Board and be provided with copies of such communications.
