Policy Statement
The Comptroller’s Office maintains a listing of major equipment (items over $5,000 are reviewed for possible capitalization) by department. Listings are provided annually to departments and the departments are expected to review and verify the information. Receipt of donated equipment and disposal of equipment, which requires compliance with the Disposal of Excess Property policy and procedures, must be reported to the Comptroller’s Office.
